This week was pretty awesome. We were opening a new sector in our area and were just walking and we saw someone moving a big sink called a "pila". We stopped to help them since the Christmas initiative plan for the day was "lighten another´s burden". We helped them move it in and take the old one out. Then we helped them clean their house since they were moving in. They accepted to hear us (another day obviously) but it was such a spiritual experience. An example of how service opens doors.
We also did service for the Stake Christmas party. We skinned chickens and split them so they could be clean and cooked. And with the skin they made something called "chicharrones" They take the skin and put it in a pot and cook the fat out of it, they fry in their own fat (kinda like bacon) then they get toasted and are like chips. mmmmmmm so yummy.
As some of you may have noticed the church came out with a Christmas initiative called #LightTheWorld. Each day we are supposed to serve and help others as Jesus did. We are the light of the world. The Christmas Devotional also talked about it. I invite everyone of you reading this email to look up this program below, on Mormon.org

We have been teaching an older couple named Carlos and Haydee (pronounced "hi-day") Carlos has major health problems and basically can´t leave his house because he´s on 100% Oxygen 18 hours out of the day. If it's cold outside and he gets sick it's a major issue. We´ve been trying to help them be able to come to church but because of the weather they haven't been able to. We´ve made plans this week so they can come but please keep them in your prayers.
Love you all
